Last month we spent a great deal of time down at the Bread Streets in the Dingle as we wanted to get to know the local residents and ask them if anyone would be interested looking after the planters down their street.We had such an amazing response from the local community. We managed to sign up 18 new volunteers who have said that they would freshen up the planters with our help. And out of the 12 streets 7 streets are now involved.
Phase 1 of the plant deliveries has already begun and local residents have already started to look after the planters.
The next phase will be starting again quite soon so watch this space !
