On 24 February at our breakfast morning we
have special guest from the Police–Community Engagement Unit. The kids were
very excited to meet with Bobby, a mascot from the Police and to learn about the
importance to have trust in the Police, to be safe in your family and in your
community.
Children tried the police uniform and equipment. They
understand if they want in the future to have a career in Police that they can
have the support to receive all the information and advices about this and also
to start a volunteer programme in the Police
The Merseyside Police Volunteer Cadet Scheme provides an opportunity for young people aged 16 - 18 to get involved in an exciting one-year programme, which has been designed to develop key life skill.
The engagement of police in this area is the first step to build a beautiful and safe community and to build a relationship with the children.
