National Wildflower Centre

Today Vi and I went to the National Wildflower Centre in Knowsley to have a look around and hopefully get some advice about planting the right type of wild flower mixes for a butterfly garden.

Most of the staff where out harvesting but we where lucky enough to speak with Gill from Landlife.

Gill gave us lots of advice on what to sow, how to prepare the soil and she also gave us a demonstration on "seed saving" and how to store the seeds until they are ready to be sown.
