Ritson Street Waste Warriors

Had our first meeting today with residents from Ritson Street, our partners from Liverpool City Council and Northwest Housing. It was a very productive meeting with some great ideas and loads of enthusiasm. Clearly the group know what they want to achieve i.e. clean streets and an increase in recycling targets. We agreed to tackle this issue by first having a community awareness event to focus on and get an understanding of how and what the community would like to see. We have agreed to hold our Community Recycle Event on the 28 November 12.30pm-3.00pm. Will keep you posted on the outcome of that event.
