The Real Junk Food Project intercepts food that would otherwise go to waste from supermarkets, restaurants and a number of other sources, and turn it into healthy, nutritious meals for anyone and everyone on a pay-as-you-feel donation basis. They have been running pop-up events around the city since October 2014 and have now found a base in Everton to run from until Christmas.
