Bee-friendly with Winnie the Pooh

Friends of the Honey Bee have recently announced a new partnership with the iconic British and honey-loving bear, Winnie-the-Pooh!

To encourage families to help honey bees, they have joined forces with Egmont Publishing – the publisher of the classic Winnie-the-Pooh stories – to create a special ‘bee-friendly’ guide.

Helping families to understand the part they can play, the new ‘bee –friendly’ guide includes a brand new short story and ten simple activities to support British honey bees – all featuring Winnie-the-Pooh and friends in various parts of England, lovingly drawn by illustrator Mark Burgess, who coloured the original E.H Shepherd black & white art and the latest book ‘Return to the Hundred Acre Wood’.

Full of activities from planting and baking to arts & crafts to educate children about the importance of bees, there is something for everyone to try!
