"Tasty Leftovers" as part of The Big Climate Week Roadshow

We had a lovely day today down at the Granby Sure Start Centre. The "Tasty Leftovers" activity was a great hit with both the children and their parents. We all made potato cakes from the leftovers of a Sunday Lunch and they went down a treat! The children enjoyed mixing the veg and potato whilst mums and dads helped to roll the mixture into pattie shapes.

There was also a chance for all of the children to plant some Cress and Lettuce seeds to take home and watch them grow.

A big "Thank You" to Squash Nutrition and Granby Sure Start Childrens Centre for delivering and hosting the session.

Tomorrow you will see "The BIG Climate Week Roadshow" at the "Crafty Pants Workshop"at the old library on Lodge lane.
Why not come along, all materials and refreshments are provided. So pop down and get some tips on how to transform your wardrobe into something new.
