The Welly Garden

What a great couple of days we had at one of our local community gardens. Fern Grove Community garden is situated just around the corner from our centre here in Liverpool and when we where asked to help organise some children’s activities, we jumped at the chance.

How better to celebrate the end of school than to have lots of fun on the garden!

Invitations were sent out, asking everyone to come and join in with our fun activities.

Everyone had lots of fun making and flying their kites that were made from old used plastic bags.

And everyone helped out to create the sign for the garden, which was made from an old back door and moss from back yard walls.

The environmental activities that we held on the patch was a great hit and this is something definitely be holding again. So watch this space!
